RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) is a technique where AI models retrieve external information from databases or documents before generating responses, increasing both accuracy and timeliness.
Why is RAG important?
RAG solves one of the biggest problems with LLMs – that their knowledge is limited to training data. By supplementing with real-time information, RAG systems deliver current, fact-based answers and reduce hallucinations.
