Google Universal Analytics har ersätts av Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics (UA) har gått i pension, och ersätts av Google Analytics 4, ”GA4”. (Använder du GA360 kan du andas ut, än har Google inte gett ett exakt datum när det stängs ner)
Du kanske har sett varningen när du loggat in, och försökt skapa en GA4-egendom, men sedan fastnat? Var lugn, det gjorde vi också i början, men nu efter ett antal installationer vet vi hur vi ska göra. Om du vill framtidssäkra ditt Google Analytics-konto är det bara att meddela oss, så sätter vi upp det korrekt åt er.
Från 1 juli 2023 slutade standardegendomar (”properties”) i Google Analytics att behandla data. Du kommer att kunna se dina Universal Analytics-rapporter under en period efter den 1 juli 2023. Ny data kommer dock bara att flöda in i Google Analytics 4-egendomar.
Tredjepartscookies fasas ut
Under 2023 kommer Google att också fasa ut tredjepartscookies, vilket innebär att det är bra om ni har en strategi för förstapartsdata, t.ex. genom en implementation av Server side tagging. Som tur är kan man bygga detta genom en integration med GA4+BigQuery data export.
